First game of the fall season
Yesterday we opened our fall season on the road against Cajon in San Bernardino, California, and it was a great first step forward for our Roosevelt Mustangs.
We battled to a 4–4 tie, and I’m grateful to contribute in multiple ways.
My Game Summary
At the plate, I had three at-bats and reached base three times:
- 1 single
- 1 walk
- 1 hit by pitch
I was blessed to score twice, and I’m thankful for every chance to compete with my brothers.
On the mound, I pitched one inning, faced five batters, and it was a scoreless inning with 1 strikeout.
Giving God the Glory
More than anything, I’m just thankful for the opportunity to play the game I love. I give God all the glory for every moment, every lesson, and every chance to grow.

Recruiting Update (God is moving)
I also wanted to share that my recruiting efforts have been paying off. I’ve been reaching out to coaches by email and have received encouraging feedback, with a couple of colleges expressing interest.
One that really stood out: UC Riverside — the head coach reached out, and I’m grateful for that connection and the momentum.
From what I understand, coaches will be doing off-campus recruiting from September 10th through October 10th, and there’s been interest in coming out to see me play. I’m excited and thankful for what’s ahead.
